Larry Mendte is a kook!
I have been following this story from day one. Just goes to show what you still have to watch your back as a career woman.
This guy just shows why there is little trust left in the world. How sad when a person's life can be so invaded by another. Just one person's actions can affect so many people.
This is just silly. CBS just dose not want to look bad. They all will just end up with better high paying jobs.
Larry Mendte should be prosecuted for invading her personal life/email. Who does he think he is? How does Larry's wife feel about what has happened? Does she really know the man that she married? Alycia's career is not over, she made a bad judgement when reacting in New York - but her career is far from over.

Where is the civil suit against Mendte? His pockets may not be as deep as the stations but I bet litigating a civil suit against him would be pretty profitable.

I read in a past news article that all newscasters are required to sign a "code of conduct" clause in their contracts which basically gives the TV/radio stations an easy out in case of a situation like Lane's New York incident.
This is absolutely pathetic on Larry Mendte's part. All celebrities these days are invaded with everyone sneaking up on every little thing in their personal lives. It is getting ridiculous and it seems like celebrities live in their whole different world now and are not even people. I'm sure Alycia will end up being fine and find a job in the near future, because the reality is that she is completely innocent and just made a bad judment of overreacting because of anger. If I was a news show, I would hire her in a heartbeat because she is a talent.
The fact that they encouraged her to reveal facts about her personal life and make her the target of all tabloids and then scoulded her for being in the news rather than reporting the news, isn't nice...And then, Larry's childish anger and poking his nose in everybody's business...Larry - grow up!
Technology is great when it used for what is invented for. This case just goes to show you the more success you have the more you have to watch your back. I dont know why men fear women in the work place, I would love to stay home with the kids if my girlfriend made enough money.
It's so sad to invade somebody's personal life. The high technology was not born for the crime.
