Music Industry to End Mass Lawsuits Against File-Sharers

Finally!! The realization. You can't enforce the un-enforceable. Obviously, I am in favor of file-sharing. Personally, I don't do a whole lot of it, but occasionally I will download some songs; and guess what, if I like what I hear, I go buy the album. The recording industry project this "artists are starving" sentiment but fail to mention that on average the actual artist who recorded the songs/album only see about $.05 to $.10 per sale. The rest goes to the producers, labels, and others within the recording process. Here is another link showing just how much artists really get from sales. Pretty one sided

The music industry didn't know how to use Napster and music downloading to their advantage years ago. Downloads actually helped record sales but the industry couldn't see and realize it. The music industry basically shot itself in the foot here.
