Plea Deal Offered to 8-Year-Old Murder Suspect
I understand that he's only 8, but if he's not punished for killing 2 men, he's most likely going to kill again when he gets older.

I read this article last week and found it interesting that the fact of the court system not being able to handle an 8 year old was admitted. I personally think they should put him in a facility until he is 18, then try him as an adult.
This entire case in interesting. I don't think they are telling the public everything regarding the case, but the fact is that he did kill two men no matter what his age. And I agree with Joe, place him in a facility until he is 18 and review the case then.
I am going to be the outsider on this one. How can you charge someone at 18 for a crime they did at 8? I dont think we are being told everything either but my thinking is what 8 year old would just pick up a gun and kill two grown men without something else going on. If he is imcompetent or mentally unstable then he needs treatment now and not to be prosecuted 10 years from now.
Something had to happen to make an 8 year old kill two men. Maybe movies or video games. I think they should get this kid some help and see if they can get him straightened out and see if he can become an productive human being.
