With Times Tight, Even Lawyers Get Outsourced
Wow, this just goes to show that anything can be outsourced today. I find it very saddening that even lawyers would rather outsource than just find ways to cut the fees they charge their customers. Is it really that difficult to lower prices charged to consumers?

If I got the same level of service from my attorney that I get from my credit card company, I would fire my attorney. How many times have you been connected to a "customer service" rep in India, Mexico etc and they are reading from a script and can not effectively answer any of your questions?
I recently read an article about a movement in the legal world that is gaining momentum. Some lawyers/law firms are moving away from the billable hour and quoting their clients a "will not exceed price" for the handling of a specific matter. In todays economic climate, prospective clients are demanding are hard cost estimate for legal services.
Not to go into to much detail with my Company's business practices, but we have lawyers both here and in different parts of Asia. But again, I work in a corporate environment verses a law firm.
