NASCAR hit by discrimination complaint

I found this interesting after reading the last article on here posted about NASCAR. It was hit with another discrimination complaint by a former inspector. It is almost the same type of situation, alleging racial discrimination, a hostile work environment and wrongful termination. Is this NASCAR's fault?

As much as it doesn't want to admit, I think Nascar still has to contend with the image of good ole' boys and the deep south to an extent. If you watch any Nascar broadcast, you can see a number of Confederate flags flying from campers in the infield. This fiasco sounds eerily similar to the case of Mauricia Grant, an official who was fired a few months back and she accused Nascar of racism:

Very few minorities have been able to make it in the world of Nascar. There has been a driver in the past who has made a couple starts and a couple minority owners have tried their hand at owning a team but I think Nascar still needs to address the issue of racism before it can move forward.
