Battle Intensifies Over Bill to Expedite Union Organizing

I am confused about unions; it maybe because I have never had to deal with them but, I always thought that they were a good thing. That the fought for the employees to get fair wages and better working conditions and so on. If that is the case then why is there so much negativity about them? Mind you I haven't done the reading yet for this week.
