I will be honest with you, I use Yahoo and I know others who use Google and they both basically offer the same service and searches. So I do not really care it they merge as long as the services stay avaiable.
But overiously the government sees it another way.
Wow who knew it could be so complicated. I am actaully surprised to see how involved this process actually is. I had heard about the issues before but I thought it was all hashed out. I can see where they are coming from with the monoply idea though. I use both Yahoo and Google. I wouldn't want to think that Yahoo would be placing ads provided by Google just because they pay more, it just seems unethical. A good way to make money but unethical to the business owners who are running the ads.
