That's ridiculous! How are they going to take the liability off of the business owner and pass it on to the employee. It is 100% the responsibility of the employer to provide a safe working environment. It should also be the employee's responsibility to notify the boss if something is unsafe, but the liability shouldn't be on the worker to make sure things get fixed all the time. Isn't this why there is workers' compensation? So that employers are held responsible for making working conditions safe. If things aren't safe, it shouldn't be the worker's responsibility to cover medical bills.
