Quick!! Start a failing company!

I guess it'd be a good idea to start a failing company. The government would most likely just use other people's money to keep you up and running.

This economy just gets worse everytime I turn around. I also believe that if your company takes advantage of any bail out government money that you have to promise not to lay off any employees for at lease a two year period. Maybe that little addition will make some people think twice about what they are doing and not take the easy way out.

The government is not going to help the little guy or small business. BIG business has a super strong lobby and lots of friends in Washington.

As a taxpayer it makes me sick.

I think that the company should think about cutting back on things, not necessarily jobs, today’s economy is obviously in a downward spiral. Everyone is suffering and everyone is cutting back on things. I think that a little government assistance would be helpful for short term, but in the long run they are still going to be in the same position. Slow down on production, these cars are obviously not selling. Maybe try different marketing plans or specials.

I think it is not a very good idea to include carmakers in the $700 Billion bail-out program. It's pointless. Car makers put themselves in this position and I have so sympathy for them because they deserve it. They keep producing cars that aren't selling! Don't give them $$$!

The economy keeps getting worse and I dont think the 700 billion bail out program is going to help. Instead of giving that money to big companies they should split that amoung taxpayers. I think it would come out to about 400 thousand a person. With that people could pay off loans saving the banks, would buy new cars helping big business, invest in the stock market saving them and over all improve our economy.
